Here is the four corner square calendar with 4 corners containing all the week days of the lunar month, The New Moon Days, which are Quodesh, stand above and outside of the 4 weekly cycles of the moon, which word gave birth to the word "month", as the Scriptures in Hebrew has New Moon instead of the translations which use the word "month".

October 8 is an "extra" new moon day, in between the 4th quarter 7th day Sabbath and the Quodesh New Moon Day. There are only 24 work days per moon and 4 Sabbaths plus the New Moon Day, and occaisionally the "extra" day in between the 4th quarter Sabbath and the New Moon Day. (see 1 Samuel 20 and Luke 6)

Gen 1:14 And Elohim said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons(moed-appointments), and for days, and years:
Gen 1:15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
Gen 1:16 And Elohim made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
Gen 1:17 And Elohim set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
Gen 1:18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and Elohim saw that it was good.
Gen 1:19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. (The 4th day gives the basis of calendation of the 4th commands 1st line, "Mark even Day, The New Moon, to consecrate It." And there are 4 weekly cycles each moon, with 4 seventh day Sabbaths.)(Our Bibles have all been altared to hide this 1st line of the 4th Commandment, which is still True on the Tablets of Stone written with His Finger. They replaced "New Moon" with "Sabbath" in all of our Bibles.)

Moon day numbers are below the Hebrew letters. YHVH inhabits eternity, and are not timed or given a day number, but rest as a "Sign" or "Seal" on His calendar, embedded or hidden in the Hebrew text. The 1st letter "Vav" which is a connector letter, represents our Saviour Who is "The Beginning and the End" "The First and the Last" "The Alef & Tav", thus the New Moon Day has time before conjunction and time after conjunction, as a "jump" from the previous moon to this next present moon. His Name is Stamped as a Seal on His Weeks and Sabbaths, YHVH or "Yehovah". A Sign of His Creative Power, of nature, and His Right to establish "Calendation". Exodus 20:8-on tablets of stone -- "Mark even day, The New Moon, to Consecrate It". The 1st sentence of His 4th Command, establishes His Calendation, then 6 days labor, then 7th day rest.
Today's present apostasy is practicing Daniel chapter 8, as they have taken "the daily", i.e. the New Moon Day away, and have replaced this lunar calendar with a pagan substitute worshipping the sun, moon, and stars(planets appear as stars) planetary week, instead of the Divinely ordained calendar of creation - Genesis 1:14- ... The "prince" of this planetary week "host" is the "sun", as sun worship, the planetary week begins with the "sun" day. see Daniel chapter 8.
